Self Motivation - A Key To Consistencysolution

Keeping oneself motivated is one important thing to keep our life going. Many times you need someone from the external world to push one through those rocky roads. There are many motivational speakers in Dubai spreading positive vibrations amongst people. Many people set high goals for ourselves but rarely work hard consistently to achieve those goals. There are many occasions when you energetically take a 12-month membership of gym but rarely complete even one month with complete regularity and discipline. Oh yeah! The beginning few days, when you wake up and get ready before time, buy a complete range of gym necessities including clothes, shoes, kits, gloves and what not! The excitement is not long lasting, within a week or two, the rush seems to drop and you reach a point where you want to punch the clock when the alarm sets off. Well, it is nothing to worry about; such things happen with every other person.
The only key to consistency is self-knowledge and self-motivation. There is not going to be someone watching you every time you fall off or stumble, you have to be your own hero. The motivational speaker may guide you and advice you once or twice but everyone has got their shit to deal with. So, better start taking good care of yourself by keeping yourself happy, introspecting regularly so that you understand your weaknesses and strengths. In short continuously putting its efforts to ensure your satisfaction and happiness because most of the things you do are to keep yourself happy. Well, it is the time you become your best friend!

Why and How Motivation works?

“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better is best.”
-St. Jerome
The above quote highlights the need to imbibe motivation in our lives. The term Motivation comes from the word ‘motive’ which means needs, wants or drives within an individual. It is a sort of positive response to the stimulus of external factors. It is the most vital component in setting goals and achieving them. There are two types of people around us- ones who need external motivation to attain desired results and others who are self-motivated. Research shows you can influence your own levels of motivation and self-control. Motivation is the bridge that fills the gap between I can and I will.

When you are motivated, you are more determined to create a life that you have envisioned for yourself. Motivation prepares you to tackle the hardships that life throws at you with positivity. Everyone faces challenges in life but how well you overcome them depends on the level of your motivation to achieve the goals. Everyone has their own purposes, goals and motivations. “It always seems impossible until it is done.” This quote by Nelson Mandela underlines the fact nothing is impossible. You can do whatever you put your mind to. The higher the level of motivation, the better would be the results. After all, no gains without pains! When you set a goal, you are looking to change something either in you or around you.
Motivation is a process of three stages:
  • Firstly there is an internal urge or drive,
  • Then there is some external stimulus that arouses response(s), and
  • Last is the stage where the person feels content upon the accomplishment of goals.
Motivational speeches works because of the following reasons:-
  • Motivational speeches help to achieve personal as well professional goals.
  • Motivational speeches help to build as well maintain a positive outlook towards life and at work.
  • Motivational speeches aid self-development of an individual.
  • Motivational speeches facilitate other positive attributes like teamwork, flexibility, and adaptation to changes.
A lucid vision for life, positive outlook towards your environment, determined efforts, and effective goals are the perfect ingredients to realize your dreams if you want only the best for you. However, goals and vision are like daydreaming until you start taking actions to bring them to life. To act requires enthusiasm and this enthusiasm is backed up by motivation. Motivation is never a matter of chance or fate but always a conscious choice and a result of dedicated efforts. If you want the motivation to last for long in your life, you will need to work hard sincerely and be consistent in your efforts. It does not matter how high your goals are, if you are motivated then no power can stop you. It doesn’t matter where you are planted, what counts is how you grow up to be? After all, you yourself can be your best motivator and nobody else.

In the words of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, “We should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us.”
